The following is a collection of the most common questions that we have been asked over the years. They can probably clarify some of your doubts. If, however, the question you have in mind is not here... do not hesitate to contact us!

I’ve got small children. What about if I need a doctor or a pharmacy?

We are only 5 minutes away from Cenaia where there is a doctor’s surgery and a pharmacy.

But are you really close to the sea?

We are only a few minutes by car from Tirrenia, famous as a beach resort with fine sand beaches. Another well-loved resort, due to its AquaPark, is Cecina, about 30 km away. Within a radius of 30 km there are some of the loveliest beach resorts on the Tuscan coast, such as Castiglioncello, Quercianella, Rosignano and Vada.

Do you rent out rooms or apartments?

We rent out apartments and separate villas. Every apartment (and every villa) has a fully-equipped kitchen (or kitchenette), living/dining room, 1 or 2 bathrooms and 2 bedrooms. Some also have a comfortable sofa-bed to provide an extra 1 or 2 sleeping places. And every apartment (and villa) is COMFORTABLE, SPACIOUS, COSY and CLEAN.

Is there heating?

Yes, in all the apartments and villas (heating costs are not included in the price and should be paid while here). Some also have a magnificent open fireplace.

And air conditioning?

At the moment only the villa La Carraia has air conditioning (costs are not included in the price and should be paid while here), but we can assure you that you will not feel the need to use it.

And hot water?

Absolutely, in every apartment and villa.

Do I need to bring bedlinen and towels?

No, we provide a complete change of linen for every apartment (and villa) every week. You need only bring beach towels for the swimming pool and for your trips to the sea.

What exactly is included in the price?

Practically everything: water, lighting, gas, use of the swimming pool and all the facilities (barbecue, mountain bike, children’s games) and a complete change of linen every week. Ah... we almost forgot, and the spectacular views...

Is there a hairdryer?

At the moment, no.

Is there a washing machine?

Yes, our guests can use a laundry in a communal area where there is a washing machine, sink and iron.

Do the windows in the apartments have mosquito screens?

Yes, both in the apartments and the villas.

Can we cook in the apartments?

Yes, all the apartments (and, naturally, the villas) have a fully-functioning, fully-equipped kitchen.

where i can buy grocery?

In the small town of Cenaia or at Crespina, 3 minutes away, you can find food stores, bakeries and delicatessens.
However, bread, croissants, warm focaccia, pizza, fresh milk, yogurt, cold meats, cold cuts and cheese comes straight to farm. Thanks to special agreements with some bakeries and delicatessens in our area every morning you can have what you need for your breakfast and your meals in your apartment. As it was in use in the Tuscan countryside than once, when the baker with his pickup truck went off the farms to distribute bread and other bakery products, we decided to offer this service for your convenience and to recreate the atmosphere of life campaign many years ago.

Warning: guaranteed service in mid and high season. In low season on request.

Are there places to eat out nearby?

Yes. 5 minutes away there are places to eat. Le Muse in Tripalle, a small hamlet near Crespina, is a restaurant which offers a discount for our guests.

Want to spend your holidays in Tuscany free from the commitment to cook? Would you like to spend a day at the beach or around Tuscany without thoughts for dinner?
Simple!
You can order every morning, ready meals and receive them directly in the apartment or picked up at the food store in Crespina.

Warning: the cost of food and meals are not included in the rates and must be paid directly to the person carrying out the distribution.

Are there shops nearby?

Yes. Again in Cenaia, 3 minutes away, you can find general stores, a beautician, a butcher, a pharmacy, clothes shops and much else besides. By car, there is also a very large Coop supermarket about 20 minutes away.

Is it possible to rent an apartment for only one night? What about a weekend?

The minimum rental period is 3 nights, except from 15th June to 15th September, when the minimum period is one week.

Is there a stables in the area?

Yes. Only 10 minutes away from the farm there is a stables that we have organised a discount with. They do horse rides, lessons and lessons for children on ponies.

I don’t suppose there’s a golf course?

Yes, only 20 minutes from the farm complex there is the Cosmopolitan Golf Club in Tirrenia where we have already arranged a discount for our guests on their 9- and 18-hole courses.

Can I bring my dog (my cat, my boa constrictor ...)?

We would prefer not, particularly during high season. In trying to offer a place which is to everyone’s tastes, we have to consider that some guests may be “sensitive” to animals. Feel free to contact us about this, however.
